Birthday Excitement

It's my nineteenth birthday a week tomorrow and I am ridiculously excited. It is, however, my first ever birthday without my family. Instead, I'll be with my Caledonia family, who will hopefully share in my excitement (especially Ray, as it'll also be his birthday) This year will be completely different to last year for quite a few reasons, but that's quite exciting. Roll on February 16th!

Oh, and the cupcakes represent my excitement for birthday cake and celebrations.

I am a first year English and American Literature student, currently learning more from the beautiful mish-mash of people that I live with than from my course. I want to document the trials and tribulations of university life; the workloads and deadlines, the days in and nights out, the food shops and fashion disasters, and, especially, the friends that I have come to love more than anything.

Hopefully I can stick to this, unlike many failed diary attempts. Wish me luck.
